A great time was had at the 2008 Nepean District Camp held at Cataract Scout Activity Centre. Arriving on a cold Friday night 12 of our cubs & 3 leaders along with over 60 cubs & leader from other Nepean groups settled in for a great weekend of fun & activities. Friday night was spent learning & practicing Songs & Skits as well as designing a "Totem" for each Six to be used over the weekend.
Saturday morning had a hearty hot breakfast to rev up the masses before to heading off and take on the low ropes course & Challenge Valley Lunch was a welcome sight before the taking on a series of initiative challenges, team work tests & problem solving puzzles. Hot showers were very welcome before a great dinner and then a rousing campfire before all our cubs crashed out after a very busy day. Sunday was an equally inviting day with a great hike in the wild country around Cataract before returning to camp for lunch. After lunch it was noses to the wheel cleaning up & repacking our bags for mum to clean out. Home for some rest, clean clothes and Hot shower completed a very successful & fun filled camp.
