harmony 2010A great time was had at the 2010 Nepean District Harmony Night held at Cobbitty Scout Hall.

Harmony Night is part of the national "Harmony Day" activities dealing with cultural, racial and religious tolerance. Harmony day promotes respect, fairness and a sense of belonging for everyone. On this night cubs participated in a range of activies promoting awareness of other cultures, games, dance, craft and fun from other cultures.

On a cool Autumn night our cubs aboutleaned Tongan, Maori & Australian Aboriginal dance, stories & games. Our cubs decorated themselves in authenitic(ish) costumes emblazoned with Orange (the colour of harmony) and had a great time while learning.
